MEET OUR TEAM

Great care is not one person. It’s a team. From the front desk to the treatment room, we work together to make your visits smooth, clear, and comfortable. Our staff includes English, Spanish, and Korean speakers.

Walter Priestley

Doctor of Chiropractic / Founder

Dr. Walter Priestley began practicing in 1987 in Southern California working for his brother, Dr. Kevin Priestley. Shortly after, he returned to Long Island and opened Priestley Chiropractic in 1988 in the Village of Farmingdale. He is board-certified in chiropractic care and board-certified in chiropractic pediatrics (International Chiropractic Association, 2001). He is former president of the Nassau District of the New York State Chiropractic Association and is also active in local government, serving on the Farmingdale Village Board of Trustees. Outside the office, he’s an endurance athlete. He has completed 5 NYC marathons and 4 Ironman 70 competitions. He lives with his wife and family less than a mile from his office.

Christopher Wider

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Wider joined the team in 2005, originally as a temporary covering doctor. He stayed, and has been part of Priestley Chiropractic for 20 years. He is board certified in Active Release Therapy.

Samuel Kim, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Kim joined Priestley Chiropractic in 2020 shortly after graduating and passing his boards. He was recruited during a time when job opportunities were limited, and has been part of the team since.

Arashdeep Saini

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Saini is a graduate of Northeast College of Health Sciences. She is a dedicated chiropractor who enjoys working with patients across a wide range of concerns. She is also a competitive figure skater and speaks multiple languages including Hindi and Punjabi.

Roxanne Zwerin

Stretch Therapist

Roxanne joined the Priestley Chiropractic team in January 2023, after first coming to the office as a patient. She has a BA in Health Science and Psychology from Stony Brook University and works as a Stretch Therapist.

Jennifer Winters

Certified Stretch Therapist

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Psychology from Stony Brook University and dual Master’s degrees in Ayurvedic and Integrative Medicine.

Bryan Paduano

Licensed massage therapist

Before becoming a licensed massage therapist, Bryan served in the US Marine Corps as a helicopter mechanic and received multiple medals for his service. He graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (NY) in 2015 and offers a wide range of massage techniques, including Swedish and Tui Na.

Ricardo Jurado

Licensed massage therapist

Ricardo joined the team as a massage therapist after first being treated as a patient in the office. He also runs his own practice in Levittown, where he lives with his wife and children. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Sadira Alvarez

Licensed massage therapist

Sadira is a graduate of Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences and is the newest massage therapist on the team.

Lisa

Front Desk Team Leader

Lisa worked in a multi-doctor neurology office for over 20 years. She joined Priestley Chiropractic in January 2023 and helps run the front end of the office. Patients know her as the go-to person for questions and support.

Deanna

Front Desk

Deanna has a degree in marketing and previously worked for a marketing agency in New York City. She joined the practice to be closer to home and has become a key part of the front desk team.

Kayla

Chiropractic Assistant

Kayla earned her BA in Psychology from Stony Brook University and is pursuing a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Adelphi. She’s known for solving insurance and software issues and has been with the practice since high school.

Karem

Chiropractic Assistant

Karem is a nursing student at SUNY Farmingdale and has been with the office for three years. The team hopes she will return in the future as a nurse practitioner.

Amy

Chiropractic Assistant

Amy is a nursing student at Molloy University. She supports patient flow, helps with histories, and brings a positive energy to the office.

Nikki

Chiropractic Assistant

Nikki is a graduate of Fordham University and is pursuing a master’s in clinical psychology. With a father who is also a chiropractor, she has grown up around chiropractic healthcare.

Heather

Chiropractic Assistant

Currently Heather is one of our chiropractic assistants she is in school to become a radiologic technologist (x-ray tech) we are hoping that she will move up from chiropractic assistant to x-ray tech in our office when she finishes her studies.

Linda

Chiropractic Assistant

Linda first came to our practice at age 14 after ballet-related injuries. Dr. Priestley quickly noticed how bright and personable she was and told her, “When you get your driver’s license, look us up-we’ll give you a job.” She did, and we’re lucky to have her as part of our team.
Linda plans to become an attorney. She’s finishing her undergraduate degree this year and has been accepted to multiple law schools. We’re hoping she’ll be able to continue working with us while she’s in law school.

Olivia

Chiropractic Assistant

Olivia’s family has been coming to our office for years. When we posted that we needed help, she was the first to respond-and we hired her on the spot.
She’s currently studying to become an RN. Olivia brings great energy to the office and is definitely our adventure girl!

Marisa

Medical Biller

Marisa earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. She has been working with Priestley Chiropractic for over 25 years and for the past 13 years she has been our full time medical biller. Marisa works from Charleston, South Carolina where she resides with her husband and two young children. She serves as our director of medical billing.

Our mission

Our mission at Priestley Chiropractic is to improve the health and wellness of the people in our community through high-quality, natural care, education, and action. We provide professional services at fees that are accessible and fair, and we work to educate the community through presentations, outreach to local organizations and schools, social media, and other learning opportunities.

We also encourage healthier lifestyles by creating opportunities to move and train, including free community boot camps as well as running, biking, and swimming groups. We support and inspire young people through coaching youth sports and offering opportunities for community service, and we aim to lead by example in how we live, work, and serve our community.
